Head coach: Lauren Creel
Head Coach Lauren Creel just completed her third season at the helm of the Seneca Golden Eagles finishing 2-22. In her first season with the Golden Eagles she led the team to its first playoff win in four years defeating #3 seed Delsea Regional High School. Prior to Seneca, Creel was the head coach at her alma mater, Pennsauken High School, where she lead the Indians to a 15-11 record and trip to the first round of the playoffs. Creel brings enthusiasm and college coaching experience to Tabernacle and is excited about building the program. Although the past two seasons have not resulted in many wins, Coach Creel plans on getting more involved with the youth programs as skill development is a key component to success at the highschool level.
Before taking the reigns as a head coach, Creel spent three years as a collegiate assistant at Penn State Abington and Rutgers Camden under Rutgers head coach, Annette Reiter. She started her coaching career at Penn State Abington in 2012-2013 and then moved to Rutgers the following season. The 2013-14 season marked a return to the New Jersey Athletic Conference for Creel, who had a stellar basketball career at NJAC rival Rowan University from 2008-12. During her time with the Profs, she served as a captain and led the team in scoring, field goal percentage, free throw percentage and steals during her senior year.
